Master's degree in Management Engineering

The master's degree in Management Engineering aims to produce experts who, in addition to the ability to apply engineering knowledge and techniques, also have the ability to manage, organise and lead people, projects, departments and businesses. The course, which focuses on effective decision making in uncertain environments, allows students to acquire knowledge and develop skills for designing and managing complex organisations, including people, marketing, finances, production, logistics, project management and resource allocation, for the efficient resolution of organisational problems.

Two or three academic years, 120 ECTS credits., 120 ECTS credits. Starting September and february
Timetable and delivery
Afternoons. In two years: 3 afternoons a week from 17:30 to 21:30. In three years: 2 afternoons a week from 17:30 to 21:30. Blended learning

Approximate fees for the master’s degree, excluding academic fees and degree certificate fee, €6,295 (€9,442 for non-EU residents).

The master’s degree promotes the acquisition of knowledge and skills for managing teams and projects in the areas of operations and logistics. It also provides the knowledge and skills needed by graduates who wish to seek employment in human resources, marketing and financial and corporate management, and for those who wish to pursue doctoral studies in Business Administration.

Generic competencies

Generic competencies are the skills that graduates acquire regardless of the specific course or field of study. The generic competencies established by the UPC are capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability and social commitment, knowledge of a foreign language (preferably English), teamwork and proper use of information resources.
